Our expertise

Grant rules change mid-year. We keep track so you don't have to.

Ireland's energy funding comes from five main sources: SEAI, the Local Enterprise Offices, Enterprise Ireland and IDA, the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment, plus EU programmes and Revenue tax reliefs. Every quote we give is date-stamped and linked to the official scheme page.

Three rules we tell every client

Most lost grants come down to one of these. We check all three before anything is signed.

  1. Never start works before the Letter of Offer.

Almost every SEAI, LEO, Enterprise Ireland and TAMS scheme refuses funding for work started or equipment ordered before approval.

  2. One cost, one grant.

The same expenditure can't normally be funded twice, for example TAMS solar and the Non-Domestic Microgen Grant. We pick the best route deliberately.

  3. Use registered people.

Most schemes require SEAI-registered contractors, installers, auditors, BER assessors or Technical Advisors.
